 Homemade Exfoliation Masks

1. Sugar and olive oil mask

Sugar is perfect for removing blackheads and olive oil is a powerful moisturizer, combine the two and you have a great exfoliating mask.


  • 4 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

preparation and application

Mix the ingredients in a bowl for about a minute.
Apply in the bath, making circular movements. Rinse with warm water.

2. Sea salt and lavender mask

Sea salt removes dead skin without damaging the skin, while lavender is anti-inflammatory and helps fight wounds, acne and bacteria.


  • 1/2 cup of salt
  • 4 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon of dried lavender
  • lavender essential oil

Preparation and application:

You must mix the salt with the coconut oil, then add the dried lavender and 16 drops of lavender essential. Mix all the ingredients until very smooth.

Apply in the bath with gentle movements and let it act for a few minutes, then rinse with plenty of water.

3. Oatmeal and almond mask

Oatmeal has great antihistamine power and lots of proteins, it can control itching, as well as hydrate and balance the pH. Almonds have the antioxidant effect and vitamin E.


  • 4 tablespoons of oatmeal
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 apple
  • Almond oil

Preparation and application:

Add the oatmeal, honey and 2 tablespoons of almond oil. Mix well and add a sliced apple, this will give the mixture an antioxidant effect. Apply to the desired area using circular movements, let it act for 15 minutes and rinse until all the product is removed.

Now all that remains is to test the recipes and see which one works best for you. But remember to always moisturize your skin well after exfoliating. Another tip is to make sure you wear sunscreen every time you leave the house.
